Marco Fuoco heads the Exports of Aperam South America since 2014. He is responsible for all sales activities for export stainless, electrical and carbon steel worldwide. He improved Aperam´s market position aiming to achieve sales and financial growth. Marco is also responsible for developing and implementing marketing plans, sales plans and forecasts to achieve the goals and he interacts with sales teams around the 5 continents and performs visits in regular basis to maintain professional relationship with customers and distributors. Marco was appointed on 2011 as President of ABINOX , where he was responsible for strengthening the competitiveness of the stainless steel supply chain. Previously, Marco was Marketing and Institutional Relationship Consultant of Aperam South America. In that capacity, Marco achieved challenging projects such as the extensively use of stainless steel in the Arena Castelão, one of the coolest Brazilian stadiums renovated for 2014 FIFA World Cup. The Allianz Parque, however, was his most remarkable accomplishment. The entire façade of the iconic multi-use arena located in São Paulo, Brazil is the unique in the world entirely made in stainless steel. Before then, Marco served as Business Manager for Industrial and Capital Goods, and Business Manager for Automotive, Civil Construction, White Goods and Housewares. Marco started his career in Aperam South America (former Acesita) in 1984 and throughout his 30-year career, he built a reputation as a hard working professional and for his ability to cover multiple roles. His strong negotiation skills and his problem-solving approach provide strategic and innovative solutions and a top-quality support to the organization.
